Edition Prints from some of the most famous,
award winning, and successful car ad campaigns
ever; Buicks from the 1950s, Pontiac Wide
Tracks from 1959 thru 1971, and European Opel
ads for 1972 and 1973. |
Museum-quality giclée prints on archival
water-color paper of some of the most dramatic and
romantic illustrations by Art Fitzpatrick and the
late Van Kaufman, produced under the supervision
of and signed by "Fitz". Some
original Pontiac art is for sale, and commisions
for paintings to order are welcomed.
Fitz
and Van's artwork has appeared in nearly every major
magazine in the world, and examples are in books
on cars and advertising, both here and abroad.
Between them they have won over 40 advertising and
design awards in international, national, and regional
competitions, against up to as many as 14,000 entrants.
They have exhibited and lectured at art schools,
universities and museums across the country.
Fitz is credited with over 1400 national and international
magazine illustrations (nearly 500 of them with
Van), arguably more than any other artist ever.
It was these Wide-Track ads that played an important
part in making the '60s the Decade of Pontiac.
Unfortunately, there will never be any more of them.
They are truly a part of Americana. |
